CONFERenceIT is a Brisbane-based Professional Conference Management Company specialising in the ICT industry. In late 2010, the trading name was sold to arinex pty ltd.

Established in 1994, CONFERenceIT had grown to become Australia’s major ICT event organiser, managing 7 – 10 conferences and 40 short-term events annually in sectors such as e-Security, e-Learning, e-Research, Networking, HR Software and High Performance Computing plus the Resource Industry.

Like our clients, using technology effectively and efficiently was fundamental to our operation. CONFERenceIT didn’t believe in boundaries, instead we believed in creating solutions to problems others think can’t be solved. This attitude has resulted in CONFERenceIT being instrumental in implementing significant technological change in many of the venues we have worked with – demonstrating our agility, creativity and the strong relationships we hold with our suppliers.

In the final 12 months under the leadership of Martin Lack, the CONFERenceIT team ran 11 conferences, managed 4,100 conference delegates, collected $2.5 million in registration fees and raised $2.3 million in sponsorship. The team also managed three secretariats including the Queensland branch of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) – Australia’s foremost ICT industry body. Together, this involved a further 3,000 delegates attending local events in Brisbane.

Our expertise lay in meticulous logistical planning, flawless program execution and innovative event management. CONFERenceIT also adopted a proactive approach to risk management and ensured that formal risk assessments occurred throughout the life of a project. This approach minimised any potential uncertainty and maximised the likelihood of a successful event.

Our high service standards and streamlined procedures were enhanced by creative energy and pricing versatility, enabling CONFERenceIT to work with you to bring your conference to life – achieving and surpassing your objectives.
