Judging Process

The Chairman of Judges is Professor Bill Caelli ably supported by Greg Allen, Trevor Henderson and Laura Daniels. They comprise the ACS Queensland ICT Awards Management Panel. The pool of judges will be further drawn from sponsors and well-known members of the local ICT community.

Judges will be provided with detailed criteria and instructed to assess all nominations. These scores are aggregated and judges will meet to select the winner and any commendations.

Judging Overview

The Judging Process commences from the date of close of nominations to just three weeks prior the Presentation Gala Dinner.

The role of the Management Panel involves decisions relating to the Award nominations including the categories; selection criteria; judging process and associated issues.

All decisions and recommendations of the judges are binding and final, and no correspondence will be entered into. All material considered by judges in their deliberations remains confidential. The members of the judges panel will be published on this website prior to judging commencing.

Judges will assess each submission based on Advantages, Benefits, Innovation, Quality, Recognition, Potential, Local Content and Presentation. Each category also has its own unique characteristics.

Winners will be announced at the Presentation Gala Dinner to be held Friday 15 April 2011.
